This is a quick update to let you know that Barrie Hill Farms is preparing for the upcoming growing season. We are committed to growing healthy fruits and vegetables for our community during these challenging times, even though how this will look is still unclear.
Surprisingly, in 4-5 short weeks Asparagus will be ready and in 10-12 weeks Strawberries well be ready.
We are working hard to keep abreast of the constantly changing requirements for best practices, as set out by the local, provincial and federal governments to keep our employees and customers safe, and ensure you that they are being implemented promptly.

I'm happy with this slow spring for a couple of reasons: Hopefully when it finally warns up, it will stay warm.
